The World’s Fastest Production Car Is Not The World’s Best Looking Car.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport is most recent uber exotic to hold the title of World’s Fastest Production Car.

By smashing the old record of 256.23 mph (set by the SSC Ultimate Aero) by about 11 mph we can certainly look past the Halloween color scheme that this car and the first 5 production cars will be built in (exposed carbon fiber & orange paint).

The official speed is 267.81 mph, which was calculated based on back-to-back runs of 265.9 and 269.8 mph for an average terminal velocity of 267.81 mph.

This insane speed is a result of fitting the standard Veyron’s W16, with 4 larger turbos, larger intercoolers and a couple of other engine tweaks and some function over form body modifications.

Bugatti says the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport will appear for the first time in public in California at the Pebble Beach Concours weekend in mid-August and will be featured at The Quail, Monterey Historic Races at Laguna Seca and on the concept lawn of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

  1. Well, Great car, I think.

But has it never been tested on ice as Bentley Continental GT. It took in Finland the speed of 321km/h or 199.4 mph.

    Here is video:

I hope that some day Bugatti Veyron will be tested on ice and then we see if it is The Car.
