The Bullrun Rally (the real deal – not the TV show) kicks off July 10, 2010 from Pier 54 in New York City. The rally heads west with the ultimate goal of arriving in Las Vegas in one piece, in the car you started in and hopefully not with a glovebox full of speeding tickets and orders to appear next month before the judge of some one-stoplight-town.

The Bullrun’s tag line is “Cops, Cars and Superstars”. Here are some of the cars (the real superstars) of the rally.

Check in often for updated photos.

Your V1 and Passport SR7 Are Useless in Ohio.

Ohio has introduced a whole new form of speed measurement device – the W.A.G. (Wild Ass Guess).

The Ohio Supreme Court has ruled that a cop’s guess of a car’s speed is good enough for them.

The Ohio cops call it “dead-reckoning”, we call it BS.

In fairness: for a cop to be able to issue a speeding ticket that will stick using “dead-reckoning” they will have to spend some time in the classroom honing their “skill”.

Good luck Ohio drivers.
